Lutheran Men in Mission Song

Words by Dan Sandel, St. Thomas LM, Chapin, SC

(Tune: Lead On O King Eternal)

The Lutheran Men in Mission, we hear His call to serve.
And by His grace we render, to stretch forth every nerve.
His mighty hand upon us, His pow'r invades the call.
Our witness for the Master, to revel in His cause.

To offer gifts He gave us, to strive to serve aright.
His love propels us onward, we glory in His might.
So let us bow before Him, in humble stance we show,
Our love for fellow Christians, extol his work below.

To lift our hearts in glory, to honor and proclaim.
And place our alms before Him, to magnify His name.
Then let us rise in mission, we hear His call to serve.
And by His grace we render, to stretch forth every nerve.
